Gazprom and Polytech have decided to develop relations in the field of personnel training, research of technologies of prospecting, exploration and development of deposits as well as new equipment for the industry.

On October 3, within the IX St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, Sergey Khomyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom PJSC, and Rector of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University have signed a cooperation agreement, as reported in Gazprom press release.

Gazprom and Polytech plan to develop relations in the field of training,  requalification and advanced training of personnel, as well as in scientific and technical field.

Among the areas of joint work is development of technologies for prospecting, exploration and development of deposits, new equipment for the industry.

Polytech will also prepare highly qualified personnel in scientific aspects relevant to the gas industry.

In accordance with the signed document, the Company and SPbPU will develop two research and development programs for Gazprom, as well as programs to improve education and training quality.
