On November 28 the ceremonial opening of the third phase of the POLISAN pharmacological plant was held. The Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Sergey Movchan participated in the opening ceremony.
— I am sure that the new production of “POLISAN”, scientific and technological pharmaceutical company, will become a platform for the implementation of advanced pharmaceutical technologies in Russia, — said Sergey Movchan in his congratulatory speech.
At the moment more than 15% of products of firm are exported that makes more than 700 million rubles. “POLISAN” STPC LLC following the results of 2017 entered in top-20 on total revenue among the Russian pharmaceutical companies.
Annually at the pharmaceutical plant more than 20 million packs of the medicines demanded in medicine of critical conditions, neurology, pediatrics, oncology, treatment of infectious diseases are produced. The launch of the third stage will allow to increase the production capacity for the production of tablet preparations three times.
Speaking at the opening of new production, Sergey Movchan emphasized that our city is deservedly called the leader of the pharmaceutical industry. Today the share of St. Petersburg in the all-Russian volume of pharmaceutical production, research and development exceeds 20% and constantly grows. The products are delivered to 26 countries of the world.
He paid attention to the fact that the city government pays much attention to development of the pharmaceutical sector, actively supports the aspiration of the enterprises to enter the foreign markets. The Vice Governor of St. Petersburg noticed that science-intensive production using modern technologies is one of our most important priorities and drivers of economic development of the city. He expressed confidence that the new POLISAN production will become a platform for the introduction of advanced pharmaceutical technologies in Russia.
